BioAlan Shore is from the Boston Legal fandom. He is a lawyer with the title of associate at Crane, Poole, & Schmidt in Boston, Massachusetts, and enters Hearts and Minds directly after the season four episode, "The Court Supreme." At 5'10", he's approximately 190 lbs with brown hair and brown eyes. While perhaps not conventionally good-looking, Alan has a charm that many people find attractive.
He is highly intelligent, as well as a highly-gifted attorney with a flair for the dramatic. Very acerbic, Alan does not hesitate to tell someone exactly what he thinks of them—usually in a blunt or decidedly mocking manner. He does not trust easily, but those who have earned his trust have earned it for life—Denny Crane and Jerry Espenson are two notable examples of that. He loves practicing law, and while he does not like to admit it—and certainly has done many things to contradict it or hide it—he is, deep down, a wholly decent and very damaged human being.
